Subnautica 2 Early Access: Launch & Preload Details

After a tumultuous road involving a public legal battle between Unknown Worlds and Krafton, the third installment in the beloved survival series is finally arriving. Subnautica 2 is set to launch in Early Access on Thursday, May 14, 2026. This sequel moves the franchise to Unreal Engine 5 and introduces optional 4-player co-op for the first time.

Preload & Bonus Rewards

• Preload Status: Preloading is now live on Steam and Xbox Series X|S. If you have pre-purchased the game or are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can download the files now to be ready for the launch second.

• The Reward: Every player who buys the game or plays via Game Pass before May 25 will receive a Reaper Leviathan Statue blueprint as a “thank you” for the community hitting 5 million wishlists.

• Pricing: The Early Access version is priced at $29.99 (approx. ₹2,500).
